ANDREW BINKLEY (Oahu, HI)

Andrew Binkley utilizes a variety of media and approaches to uncover and explore our notions of time by creating a shift into acceptance and appreciation for impermanence. His works often reflect on “our own relationship with conditions arising and passing away”. In this particular series, he explores portals, crossing from one stage to another, and the sense of floating that comes with letting go. His photographs and video of inner tubes and waters explore these relationships with acute, playful observation. They draw us into the heightened beauty of the portal and the available calm of life’s waters.
